It was a Hungarian student of the Faculty of Law at the University of Debrecen, László Marjai, who won the Best Judge Award at the latest prestigious international labor law moot court competition named after Hugo Sinzheimer. A faculty member from the Faculty of Law at the University of Debrecen also served as Chair of the Organizing Committee of the event.

At a ceremony held on Saturday, July 4, in the venue called Aula of its Main Building, the University of Debrecen inaugurated 104 new doctors. Titles for habilitated doctorate and Professor Emeritus status, as well as Excellence Ph.D. Scholarships of the Count István Tisza Foundation for the University of Debrecen were also awarded at the event.
A total of ninety-three students have completed their studies at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Debrecen recently in the undergraduate program of medical diagnostic analysis and in the master’s programs of health psychology, clinical laboratory research and molecular biology. The graduates received their diplomas at the faculty’s end-of-the-academic-year ceremony on Saturday.
At the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Debrecen, more than five hundred graduating students received their diplomas. From this point on, they will be able to work in the future in a variety of fields as bio-informaticians, rehabilitation specialists, social workers and physiotherapists. In addition to handing out the diplomas at the graduation ceremony, the faculty representatives also recognized, honored and awarded the most outstanding students, lecturers and employees of the faculty.
